Works are the evidence of a living faith.
James 2:26 ‘For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.’
Faith opens the door to new life in Christ;
works show we have entered into it.
Faith looks to Christ and trusts in His finished work alone;
works are the evidence of a living faith.
The joy of the Christian life is to show to the world
that Christ is alive in us.
As we grow in Christ then our faith will become apparent
by our love for Christ and His word;
by the fruit of the Spirit
revealing the love of Christ in our daily life;
by the contrast of our life compared with the world;
and by the boldness we have to live for Christ and His word.
