Jesus is the friend of sinners.
John 8:11 ‘Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more.’
Jesus is the friend of sinners.
He defends those who have no right to be defended.
He loves those who have no claim to His love.
He shows compassion to the undeserving
and forgiveness to the unworthy.
He gave all for those who can give nothing in return.
He chooses the despised of the world so His glory can be seen in them.
It cost Him everything to redeem His people.
Love alone could not save us;
He had to become sin and die for us.
Our only response to His love must be to give all to Jesus;
to forsake our sin; to obey His word;
and to let His love be seen in us.
