It is our responsibility to put on the new life we have in Christ.
Romans 6:11 ‘Likewise you also reckon yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.’
Grace could not make our sinful heart acceptable to God.
Grace took our sinful nature and nailed it to the cross;
it is crucified and buried with Christ.
We are separated from our sin as far as the east is from the west.
We are not condemned because we are a new creation in Christ.
The life of Christ dwells in us.
It is our responsibility to put on the new life we have in Christ
and to consider ourselves dead to sin, and alive unto God.
When Jesus returns we will be separated forever from our sinful nature
and His life will shine in us.
