Hebrews 12:12 ‘Therefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;’

When we look to our own strength;

and trust in our own resources;

or rely on favourable circumstances;

then we can easily be discouraged and become weary.

But when we look beyond the circumstances

and see who we are in Christ

then we can speak with boldness;

act with confidence;

and be fearless in the face of difficulty.

The Lord does not keep us from trials;

He leads us through the trial so we can be an encouragement to others.

It is only those who have truly learnt to trust in Jesus

who are able to lift others.
