The marriage supper of the Lamb.
Revelation 19:9 ‘Blessed are they who are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.’
Salvation in Jesus Christ is more than forgiveness.
It is a marriage.
We are united with Christ; one with Him.
The bridal gown is the righteousness of Christ;
none other is accepted.
He gave Himself for us so that we can give ourselves to Him.
It is a supper because we feast upon Christ and His word.
He quenches our thirst with living water
that is able to flow out to others.
When we receive Christ, His life dwells in us.
It is the life of Christ in us that will draw others to Him.
He is the Lamb of God
who loved us enough to lay down His life for us.
We are united with Christ;
washed through His blood;
cleansed by His word;
and filled with His Spirit.
