Unfailing love; sacrificial, patient, unchanging.
1 Corinthians 13:8 ‘Love never fails:’
His love never fails.
It is sacrificial;
He gave Himself as an offering for sin so we can be righteous in Him.
It is patient; He drew us to Himself,
even when we were far off and ignorant of His great love towards us.
It is unchanging;
He loves us because of who He is and not because of what we have done.
His love remains constant watching over us as we grow in Him.
The same love dwells within all who receive Christ.
His love leads us to surrender all to Jesus;
to patiently endure so others can come to know Him;
and to love others with an unchanging love
knowing there is none worthy of His great love for us.
