United as one body.
1 Corinthians 12:25 'That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.'
In Christ we are one body;
united by His life dwelling in us,
and growing together in His word.
There is no place for division in the body of Christ.
A body is not hierarchical;
every part must be rightly joined together in its right place.
Every person is essential to the body of Christ.
It is not competitive,
and it is not threatened by the gifts and ministries of others;
we are encouraged by them.
There is no place for pride.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ brought us into the body of Christ;
His love enables us to serve one another.
