Freedom is in Christ.
John 8:36 'If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.'
Freedom can never come through the law.
Nor can it be found in the fulfilment of selfish desires.
Freedom is in Christ.
We grow in freedom as we grow in Christ.
The more His word is in our heart,
the more we will love and desire the freedom He gives.
It is the freedom of new life and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
We are set free to be holy;
to be controlled by the love of Christ;
to produce the fruit of the Spirit;
and to serve one another with humility and love.
We are free because Christ is our life; our righteousness;
and all that we are is in Him.
