June 1

Jude 20 ‘But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,’

We become strong in Christ

by trusting in His finished work and not in ourselves;

by resting in all that He has done for us;

by relying upon His word

so that our confidence is in Christ and not in our own strength;

by rightly dividing the scripture so we grow in Christ through His word;

by keeping our mind fixed on His life dwelling in us

so we put on Christ as a soldier puts on His armour;

by being led of the Holy Spirit in prayer;

by living each day in the knowledge that one day soon we shall see Jesus

and we shall be with Him forever.
