We are made completely new in Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17 ‘Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.’
Jesus came so that we can have life.
It is not our old life cleansed;
it is our old life crucified and buried with Christ.
We are made completely new in Christ.
There is no link with the past.
We are separated from sin through His death
and raised to new life through His resurrection.
We are united with His life so we can be His people.
We are holy because He is holy;
we are righteous because He is righteous.
Christ is our righteousness; our life; our peace; our joy.
This is the wonderful message of the gospel; Christ lives in us.
