We are to be faithful because we are one body in Christ.
Ephesians 4:12 ‘For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:’
Ministry gifts are known by holiness, humility, and love.
Holiness is the outworking of the life of Christ in us.
We teach holiness by scripture and example.
Holiness does not trust in self but in Christ alone who dwells in us.
Holiness is our responsibility to put on Christ
and stand firm in all He has done for us.
Humility prevents self from elevating itself in the place of Christ.
We are not a hierarchy seeking pre-eminence over others
but servants seeking to equip others for ministry
without regard to self-interest or self-importance.
The love of Christ equips us to build one another up in Christ.
