Chosen in Christ, not because of who we are but because of who Jesus is.
Ephesians 1:4 ‘According as He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:’
We are chosen in Christ,
not because of who we are but because of who Jesus is.
The eternal Son of God united Himself with His people
even before the foundation of the world.
It was the grace of God that wrote the plan of salvation;
it was the love of God that was willing to make it happen;
and it was the power of God that brought it to fulfilment.
His purpose was to make His people holy;
to remove every blemish of sin; and to make us His own.
None but Jesus could do this for His people.
