The promises of God
2 Peter 1:4 ‘Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature’.
The character of Jesus is produced in us as we trust in His promises.
We are not given an easy road;
we are given His promises to rely upon.
The difficulties of life are our opportunities to trust.
We are separated from the world by His promises;
they are our priceless possession.
