The word of truth; the power of God; two sides of His righteousness.
2 Corinthians 6:7 ‘By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,’
The word of truth holds the armour of God together as a belt.
If we love Christ, we will love His word;
if we desire Christ, we will desire to know His word;
if we serve Christ, we will keep His word in our heart.
We stand by the power of God; His life is our possession;
His grace our provision; His love our protection.
We have confidence, assurance, and boldness
because of the two sides of His righteousness;
the imputed righteousness by which we are justified by faith
and the imparted righteousness of His life working in us and through us.
