Philippians

Jesus Christ is Lord.

Philippians 2:11 ‘And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.’

The eternal Son of God has always been Lord but this alone could not save us.

He had to become like us in order to reach us.

The Son of God became man and overcame sin and death.

It is for us that Jesus Christ is Lord.
