Running for the prize.
Philippians 3:14 ‘I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.’
In Christ there is a prize to win.
The prize is won by faithfulness;
the race is not competitive;
the last place is the first place;
and love is the only acceptable motivation.
The prize will be won by those who have
a heart that desires Christ more than the things of the world;
a mind set on knowing and obeying His word;
and eyes looking for the day when we will see Jesus face to face.
