The church is not a hierarchy.

Romans 1:12 ‘That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.’

Paul, not only encouraged the believers, he also expected to be encouraged by them. The mutual faith of both Paul and other believers worked together encouraging one another.

The church is not a hierarchy.

We are a body in which the life of Christ dwells.

In Christ we are united as one;

encouraging and strengthening one another;

building each other up by

1) teaching;

2) prayer;

3) fellowship; and

4) caring for one another.
