Be sober
1 Thessalonians 5:8 ‘But let us, who are of the day be sober,’
We must guard our heart and mind from the intoxication of the world.
The hopes of the world will fade;
the desire for worldly gain will not satisfy;
and the pleasures of the world bring no lasting joy.
But in Christ our hope is certain;
He will satisfy and fill the longing heart;
and His joy will never pass away.
