Christ in us overcomes.
1 John 5:4 ‘For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world:’
It is Christ in us who overcomes.
Faith rests in His work not ours;
trusts in His word not our abilities;
and walks in His ways not seeking self advantage.
His power in us will overcome the need to satisfy selfish desires.
He fills us with His love, peace, and joy
setting us free from the despair of the world.
