The Holy Spirit seeks to draw us closer to Jesus.
Ephesians 4:30 ‘And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption.’
The greatest experience in serving Jesus
is to know His Spirit dwells in us.
The Holy Spirit seeks to draw us closer to Jesus.
He is grieved
when selfish desires diminish the love of Christ in our heart;
or when sin takes precedence over His righteousness in our daily life;
or if we seek to elevate ourselves rather than to glorify Jesus.
The Holy Spirit works in us so our attitude, our manner of life,
our speech, our thoughts, our actions,
and our entire character is the expression of His life in us.
The desire not to grieve the Holy Spirit
will keep us from bitterness; anger; and unforgiveness.
