"I will pour water upon Him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour My Spirit upon thy seed and My blessing upon thine offspring." — Isaiah 44:3 Floods upon the Dry Ground chronicles the remarkable 1921 spiritual awakening amongst the fisherfolk of Scotland's east coast. This revival had a tremendous influence, and many lives were changed because of a response to simple Gospel preaching under the anointing of God's Holy Spirit. Author Jackie Ritchie was born of fisherfolk parents in the North East of Scotland. Both her parents were converted during this revival, giving her a unique perspective on this significant move of God. This account covers primarily a six-month period from September 1921 to February 1922, along with the related Portsoy revival of 1923.
