Hebrews 9:27
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"
The love of God could never ignore the wrath of God towards sin.
But the love of God made a way for us.
Jesus Christ is the greatest gift.
He died for us.
His death was substitutional.
He became sin for us so that the wrath of God
that should have come upon each one of us
could be placed upon Him.
He was judged in our place so that in Christ
we pass through death and judgment into resurrected life.
If we receive His gift then we need never fear death
because our sin has already been judged.
If we reject Jesus Christ then there is no other way.
