Our life is Christ and our doctrine is Christ.

1 Timothy 4:16
"Take heed unto yourself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this you shall both save yourself, and them that hear you."
Taking heed to ourselves requires diligence
to put on the armour of God
so we stand against all the attacks of the enemy,
and by walking in the Spirit
so the fruit of the Spirit is evident in our life.
The words we say,
the thoughts we allow to occupy our minds,
the things we do,
and the priorities of our life
should all glorify the Lord.
Our life is Christ and our doctrine is Christ.
His life is our experience; His word is our daily bread.
We are the expression of His life and the declaration of His word.
