We are citizens of another kingdom where Christ reigns in the hearts of His people.
"For this you know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God."
The kingdom of this world will cease.
The riches it covets; the pleasures it desires;
the lusts it craves, they will pass away.
Its sin will be judged
and those who belong to it will perish without hope.
We are citizens of another kingdom
where Christ reigns in the hearts of His people.
His righteousness; His peace; His joy dwells in us.
We are holy because Christ is holy.
It is not our righteousness but His life that works in us.
He is our eternal inheritance.
His word keeps us from evil
and His love motivates our obedience.
