Our righteousness must be in Christ and not in ourselves.
"And be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:"
Our righteousness must be in Christ and not in ourselves.
Self effort and self righteousness are the empty and vain pillars of religion
that stand in opposition to the gospel of Christ.
We are righteous because Christ alone is our righteousness.
We are justified because Christ died for us
and rose again so we can have new life in Him.
Faith in Christ alone can bring the peace of justification;
total dependence upon Christ and His finished work brings the joy of salvation.
We can do nothing but Christ has done everything for us.
