His life works in us

Romans 7:24-25
"O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord."
It is no longer how good we are that matters;
it is who we are that matters.
If we are in Christ, we are a new creation.
The old is crucified with Christ; the new is risen with Christ.
We must learn to walk in the new life we have received
through faith in Christ.
We are not condemned; Christ is our life.
We do not fight evil thoughts or wrong desires;
we put off the old and put on the new.
It is not by our efforts we are holy;
it is by His life working in us and through us.
