It is by faith we are justified and not by our works of righteousness.

"They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
Jesus did not come to praise the self-righteous or to condone sin.
He came to seek and to save the lost.
When we realise our need then the Lord is able to reach us.
It is by faith we are justified and not by our works of righteousness.
It is by His blood we are cleansed and not by our works of penance.
It is by His life we are made new and not by trying to live a good life.
It is by His promises we are kept and not by our efforts.
It is Christ alone who saves.
