"In hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the world began;"
Our hope is certain.
We know we have eternal life because Christ is our life.
New life in Christ is our experience;
we are united with Him; He is eternal life.
The Holy Spirit is our guarantee right now
that what God has promised He will fulfil.
His word is truth.
The world denies His word but God's word will never fail.
He will do what He has promised.
We can rest secure in His promises because He cannot lie.
He cannot deny Himself; He is who He is.
He had to give His life so we could inherit His promises.
It did not come cheap; His promises are our riches.
