The world will always seek for peace that it will never know;

security that it will never find;

and safety that it can never have.

If we love the world we will be condemned with the world.

But when Christ lives in us, we cannot be like the world.

We know that Jesus will return,

because His Spirit confirms His word on our heart.

We know we are ready,

because in Christ we are set free from the guilt and condemnation of sin.

We know we have eternal life,

because we are born of His Spirit, sons and daughters of the living God.

We know we can rest in His care,

because all the promises of God are our inheritance in Christ.

We have peace with God, justified because of Jesus.

We have security, because He is our Abba, Father.

We have safety, because His word will never fail.
