Romans 7:4

"... you also have become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that you should be married to another, even to Him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God."

— Romans 7:4

The fruit of a godly life.

Condemned by a law we could not keep;

inseparably joined to sin we could not overcome.

Only in Christ can a guilty sinner be justified

and brought into new life.

Faith alone unites us with Christ.

Death could not hold Him;

it is through the power of His resurrection

that we receive new life.

It is not by our efforts that we live a godly life.

The life of Christ must grow in us

and by His life working in us we produce the fruit of new life.
