Ephesians 2:19

"Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;"

— Ephesians 2:19

Citizens of heaven and the household of God.

The rights and privileges of citizenship

come with responsibilities and obligations.

Our citizenship was bought at great cost; Christ died for us.

The demands of citizenship are also costly.

We can only fulfil the responsibilities of citizenship by our love for Christ.

We can only keep the obligations of citizenship by our desire for His kingdom.

The evidence of citizenship is allegiance to Christ and His word.

The evidence of being part of the household of God is the love of Christ in us.

We are citizens, united together in Christ.

We live for His glory; we look for His coming; we are His people.
