1 Thessalonians 5:15

"See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone; but always follow that which is good, both for yourselves, and for all."

Freedom and joy in forgiveness.

The desire for revenge stands in contrast to the new life we have in Christ.

When Christ is our life then we have the power to forgive.

The freedom and joy of forgiveness is able to overcome evil.

The Lord knows the trials we face. He will not allow sin to go unpunished.

We can trust in His judgments.

We should always pray for those who wrong us or speak evil against us.

If we follow after the good then Christ will be glorified through us.

He will judge the sinner but those who trust in Jesus can rest in His provision.
