1 Corinthians 16:13-14

"Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all you do be done with love."

Eyes focused on Christ.

The Christian must be watchful at all times.

Christ is our life.

We remain focused by putting on the armour of God.

We stand fast in the faith when we love and obey His word,

and by keeping our heart fixed upon the new life we have in Christ.

We need courage so we will never be ashamed of the gospel of Christ,

and strength to live for Christ regardless of the consequences,

not seeking an easier route but letting His purpose be fulfilled in our life.

The love of Christ in us will shine as a light

testifying to the world that we are His disciples.
