The love of God gives more than our need requires.

1 John 3:1
"Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God:"
The love of God towards us is more than being forgiven.
He gives far more than our need requires.
In Christ we are lifted from the vileness of sin
to the position of sons and daughters in the family of God.
He saves us from death and judgment to unite us with His life;
Christ lives in us.
He removes our sin so His kingdom can dwell within us;
righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
