In Christ we are a victorious people.

He is our peace, our joy, our strength, our life.

He has reconciled us to God,

made us inheritors of the promises,

and brought us into the family of God.

It is by trusting in Christ alone that we overcome.

He gives peace that overcomes fear;

joy that overcomes sorrow;

strength that overcomes weakness.

His life in us overcomes as we grow in His word,

and put on Christ in our daily life.
