2 Corinthians 11:3
"But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."
The simplicity of the gospel
is that in Jesus Christ our sin has been paid in full;
we have received new life;
we are righteous through faith in His finished work;
and we have become sons and daughters of the living God.
In Christ is all we need.
He sets us free from the pretence and hypocrisy of religion.
Christ is our life.
We are set free to live as He wants us to live;
free to be His people;
free to serve one another;
and free to love others with the love He has given us.
