We are citizens of another kingdom.
"Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son:"
In Christ we are brought into the freedom of new life.
We are citizens of another kingdom; we serve a different King.
No longer held by the impulses of an evil nature but united with Christ.
Set free to be holy; to walk in truth;
and to love others with the love He gives us.
The darkness blinds the eyes of those it holds captive.
It deceives both the good intentioned and the corrupt;
it hides truth by putting on the deceptive garments of religion
and pushes others away from Christ
through the hypocrisy and superstition of religion.
The world needs to see Christ is alive in us.
