The enemy will use the philosophy of the world to elevate self

and lead people away from the gospel of Christ;

he will use empty and deceitful words

to promote the pleasures of the world

in opposition to the righteousness of Christ;

and he will use the religions of the world

to promote self effort

in opposition to the free gift of God that is in Jesus Christ.

We must take care to put on Christ;

to stand on His word;

to trust in His finished work for us;

and walk daily in the new life He has given us.
