The resurrection changed everything.
"And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, He said unto them, Have you here any meat?"
The presence of the risen Jesus filled the disciples with ecstatic joy.
It was beyond all their expectations or thoughts.
They knew it was true because they experienced the risen Jesus;
they saw Him; they heard Him; they knew He was alive.
The resurrection changed everything.
It brought victory out of defeat; meaning out of confusion;
purpose out of despair; and life out of death.
All who have received new life in Jesus
have also experienced the risen Christ.
We know Jesus is alive because He lives in us.
We are not like the world,
we can rejoice in every situation because we serve a risen Saviour.
