"A bruised reed shall He not break, and smoking flax shall He not quench,"
The love of Christ reaches out to all who will call upon Him.
He delights to show mercy, even to the worst of sinners.
He will bring joy to the heart of the weary.
He renews the strength of those who are worn down.
He gives purpose to those who have no meaning to life.
His promises are able to lift those who are overcome with despair.
He gives life to all who will receive Him.
It is when we come to the end of our resources
that we can enter into the joy of His salvation.
It is not our work but His.
Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
