The spirit of our mind needs to be constantly renewed

so that prayer is instant; the love of Christ is constant;

and the fire of God burns within us

so that His desire is our desire.

Our mind is a battlefield.

The spirit of our mind

is the course we choose to follow in our thought life.

The enemy seeks to put a barrier in our mind

that will keep us from fellowship with God.

It is with urgency and determination

we renew the spirit of our mind

by keeping our thoughts guarded

with the word of God and prayer;

our heart fixed upon the Lord Jesus Christ;

and our life set upon living for His glory.
