We look for the day of His appearing.

Titus 2:13
"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;"
Our freedom is in serving Jesus;
our joy is in being His people;
our hope is certain, we shall see Jesus.
It is love for Christ that keeps us faithful;
our eyes are fixed on the promises of God.
It is His Spirit within us who keeps us focused;
we run towards the prize of His calling.
It is His word in our heart that keeps us
from seeking after the desires of the carnal mind;
we look for the day of His appearing.
It is because we have an eternal inheritance in Christ
that we do not need to seek after the temporal pleasures of the world.
