True worship takes place in the heart and mind.

Revelation 2:25
"But that which you have already hold fast till I come."
It is in the heart and mind where true worship takes place.
Our achievements are worth nothing
if our heart and mind are given over to wrong desires.
We are called to hold fast that which we have in Christ.
He has provided all things so we can be His people.
We are to hold on to His promises.
We can live a holy life
because His Spirit dwells in us;
we can love as He loves
because the fruit of His Spirit grows in us;
we can speak as ambassadors of the living God
because His word gives us authority and wisdom;
we can stand in difficult situations
because He will never leave us.
