The gospel of Christ is the power of God;

the wisdom of God; the righteousness of God;

and the love of God reaching down to those who are lost in sin.

There is salvation in no other name but Jesus;

no other gospel that is the power of God unto salvation;

and no other way to eternal life

but through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

The law cannot give freedom from sin;

religion cannot bring assurance of salvation;

good works cannot bring peace;

human efforts cannot change the heart.

But in Christ we receive freedom from sin;

assurance of salvation; peace with God;

new life; and wonderful joy.
