We need to take care so our heart does not become hard.

It takes determination to live for Jesus;

dedication to serve Him;

and devotion to obey His word.

The deceitfulness of sin can put on a religious appearance

that will lead our heart away from the reality of the gospel.

It is essential to encourage one another in Christ;

to demonstrate the love of Christ by example;

and to keep our heart filled with love for Christ and His word.

It is only the love of Christ in us; love for one another;

and love for His word that will keep our heart tender.
