The genuineness of our faith is known by our works.

Not the works of self-reliance, self-confidence, and self-ability;

but the works of a living faith that trusts in Christ alone.

It is the works that come from new life in Jesus;

His life working in us and through us.

Faith in Christ separates us from the world

because it goes against the mentality of the world.

Our faith is known by love for the Lord;

love for the scriptures; and love for others.

We will desire to know His word; to live by His promises;

to walk in His truth; to obey His commands; to do His will;

and to follow after His righteousness.
