Patience in Christ is not our ability but His life working in us.

We become steadfast in Christ as we learn to rely upon His strength

and to depend upon His word.

The Christian life is more than doctrine; it is our experience.

We know His presence and we experience His love

as we walk in His ways.

It is through experience we learn

to put on Christ at all times in our daily life.

The Holy Spirit makes truth our experience

so hope is more than hope,

it is a living reality filling us with wonderful joy

because we know we are born of His Spirit;

washed in His blood; cleansed by His word;

and kept by His power.
