The Christian athlete

1 Corinthians 9:25 ‘And everyone who contends for the prize is self controlled in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.’

An athlete must

...train hard;

...keep a disciplined lifestyle; and

...be focused on the race.

A Christian runs for the prize by

...hard work;

...discipline; and

...by focusing on Christ and His word.
