True repentance.

2 Corinthians 7:10 ‘For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation’

True repentance is always positive.

It means to change our thinking.

Sorrow is a heaviness of guilt when we look at ourselves

but repentance looks to Christ and says ‘I will arise’.

Jesus lifts us from guilt to be the ambassadors of His grace.
