Daily Verse
December 10
He lifts the lowly to royalty.
Luke 1:52 ‘He has put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.’
Empires come and go.
The seats of power are soon vacated.
The rulers of this world cannot retain their authority forever.
But in Christ the lowly are lifted to royalty.
His kingdom never ends.
It is established in truth bringing freedom and joy;
it is upheld by love giving us peace that endures;
and by His power we receive life that is eternal.
